Several years ago, a 9-year-old boy was referred to our practice while dealing with ADHD, sensory problems and digestive (gas) issues from birth.

In order to understand what was going on in his body, we took several scans of his spine and muscles, including a thermography scan and surface EMG. The thermography scan showed a disruption in temperature in the lower part of his spine - coincidentally, those same nerves work closely with the digestive system, among others.

His initial EMG scan showed poor neural efficiency, which is very common in children struggling with sensory issues. From here, we devised a focused care plan to address his nervous system dysfunction. We began seeing the boy quite frequently, and after just a few months, his mother took him off all medications for ADHD.

When we took additional scans after three months of care, we noticed his energy scores improved, and temperatures were more regular.
